Great eReader
It is that simple. Have imported pdf and html via WiFi - no problems. Interface works well and import works well, it is a pleasure to find such a great app!!!
Definitely needs improvements
The interface looks nice, and I like the fact that you can change the background/text color. However, the .pdf text extraction looks terrible. All of the formatting is lost and the text looks jumbled up. Also, if I want to upload a book from the Readdle server or change the settings (title, author, etc) of a book, it takes forever to load.
I'm going to hold off on using this app until it get some better updates. The app has a lot of potential to be one of the best, but right now, it's substandard.
Good But Needs Some Improvement
I like this reader but would like to see the following improvements/additions:
1. Support for Mobipocket (.prc) books.
2. More fonts and other customized page background colors.
3. Be able to get to all the setting options, i.e., page color, from within the book without having to go back to the bookshelf and then choose settings.
I think this app has great potential, but for the price it should have more options. I like the antique book interface but want to see more additions, so I'll keep it for a while and see if there are any new developments in the future. :)
