Description
Khromax: a game of dexterity and color.
Drag same-colored pieces together to score. Avoid colliding different colored pieces or you lose. It's easy to play, but difficult to master.
A few tips (but not too many — half the fun is devising your own strategy):
• If different colored pieces are overlapping, wait for a free piece to spawn that you can use to eliminate one. Don't let clusters panic you.
• If no winning moves present themselves, use the time to arrange the existing pieces to give yourself more room and clear paths for dragging.
• Multitouch works great. Try playing on a table, or with each thumb handling half the screen, trading colors as necessary.
Khromax is appropriate for all ages, and difficulty scales with player skill. The game starts with four colors, and adds more (up to eight) as score increases. Pieces are worth fewer points the longer they sit on the screen, so hesitation leaves a beginning player with more time to get comfortable, while expert gamers will quickly find themselves with a worthy challenge.

Sucked me in immediately!
It seemed so simple at first, but then the complexity quickly caught up with me! This game is a lot of fun and has the most calming sound effects I've ever seen in a game. I only wish there was an option to turn off the sounds for when I want to play and listen to music at the same time. It's still an awesome game, though, and if I can't turn off the sounds, I can at least be glad they aren't annoying. :)
Awesome game!!
Lots of fun... simple but addictive gameplay. Khromax seems REALLY easy at first, but the difficulty starts to ramp up quickly.
One really neat feature that I haven't seen another game accomplish: You can drag multiple orbs at once! Multitouch is very effectively used here.
Khromax is similar to DodgeDot, but much more fun, and without the annoyingly cluttered interface. (I really don't care for DodgeDot....)
Bonus (to me at least): Khromax is the only iPhone game (besides word games) that my wife likes, too!
Lots of fun, with nuances I still have to work out
Khromax is lots of fun and definitely in the realm of games I’ll play on my iPod Touch until the battery warning comes up. I’m still trying to figure out how to get three dots to combine at once using two fingers, but whenever I try, I just end up obscuring the screen and losing. More for me to learn!
