Customer Reviews
Finally!
Super fast app, brings you all the latest from Engadget. Only three stars because there's no ability to search for articles, font color choices make it hard to read articles, and there doesn't seem to be a way to increase font size.
Great app for great site!
Great app for a great site. Had the TUAW app and thought it'd only be a matter before time Engadget got the iPhone magic. Can't wait to watch episodes of The Engadget Show pretty handily.
Bad UI Decisions
The mixture of custom nav buttons with Apple standard buttons is painful, especially on the comments screen where putting in a standard "+" button would have been incredibly easy (Apple provides a method just for creating these buttons in the SDK).
Also, the "busy gear" in the nav bar with buttons flying through it during transitions? Why didn't you just use the UIApplication wait gear in the status bar?
Finally, the buttons in the share article menu make me uncomfortable by not having a visual response when you touch them. Either hire someone who knows the SDK well enough to customize your UI, or else hire someone with the discipline to simple learn to use the Apple provided methods.
