great game
Once you get used to the controls it is a blast.
Great Retro Arcade Fun
I grew up in the 80's and enjoyed many of the older video games. This is a great interpretation of Battle Zone. The controls are intuitive for maneuvering, but it would be nice to have a third hand to shoot while moving. After a couple of games, I was able to shoot and move pretty easily. This game is great for anyone who enjoys a bit of nostalgia. It is beautifully recreated with a few twists to enhance play. Note: a previous review claims a sort of bait and switch. If one reads a review in TouchArcade.com, one will see that the Extreme version was known to be in the works for some time (even when the title was under Chillingo). Many games incorportate a small advertisement for other company offerings. I'm not too bothered by it as it doesn't interfere with the game itself.
