DINOSAURS MOSAIC
DINOSAURS: American Museum of Natural History Collections contains more than 800 images from the Museum's archive, woven together to create a striking image of the world’s most famous dinosaur, the Tyrannosaurus rex.
Double-tap or pinch to zoom into the mosaic and inspect individual photos. Tap the info button to flip the photos and read fascinating information about the science and personalities of the Museum’s world-renowned fossil collection: each interactive photograph includes information of where the fossil was found and the paleontologist who uncovered it. There’s a dinosaur enthusiast lurking inside all of us, and this app will inspire the next generation of paleontologists to start digging!

Good pictures, fun presentation
This app presents a bunch of dinosaur pictures (historical, in the modern museum, diagrams, models, etc.) in a huge photo mural. You can browse it mural and zoom in/out or, if you zoom all the way in, you can slide between individual full-screen pictures. I really enjoyed this interface a lot more than the standard "scroll through a huge gallery" style of app. The pictures also seemed like a good mix of types and most were awesome (except some of the simpler diagrams, which were nice but boreing compared io the rest).
Dinosaurs!
Kewl app! I really like the interactivity the comments provide (except for the lame, crude ones...but I'd rather have them than none at all). But it seems as though perhaps there may be a limit on submissions that is robbing my adoring public from the full range of my entertaining, high concept, intelligent and thought provoking contributions...remove that limit and I will bequeath upon you the fabled (some consider it mythical) *11 star * rating, fully 1 star better than the oft cited 10 star rating...make it happen...the power is within you...

P.S...I also wanted to point out that, in case you might not have noticed...the pictures are arranged so that when viewed from a distance, they look like T-Rex! It's almost as if it was planned that way...:P
