Browse, search, view documents, stream audio & video, and email any file. Browsing is simple and elegant, sporting a beautiful UI, preview thumbnails, label support, full text search. Favorite a file to return to it easily. Email your files via an attachment or link (for large files).
The free HFF helper OS X app is required for Here, File File to connect to your computer. HFF is currently Mac only and requires OS X 10.5 or greater.
• Here, File File works over your local network as well as over the internet including EDGE and 3G. HFF can automatically configure your network if your router supports UPnP or NAT-PMP. If not, then manual configuration is also possible.
• If you want to make sure your network setup will work, download the FREE HFF helper OS X app at http://herefilefile.com to verify that your network will work with HFF before purchasing.

WAS One of the best!!
If you have a bunch of time you want to spend wasting trying to get this app to work every time they update this is the app for you.. After this update I wasted 2 hours to get it to work again an now out of no where it just stopped working.. Was a good app and now just junk!!! DELETE is now the word of the day here.. What a waste!!
I'm revising this.. Every time they update something it takes friggen forever to get it to work again.. I Just wasted the last 2 hours getting this to work again.. This is the last time I will waste my time.. The app worked fine before why mess with it!! Next time I just DELETE this app!!! Leave it the F&^% alone!!! PLEASE!!!
I'm glad I took the chance and purchased this when it first came out because I would have thought twice about it now. All said, this one does the search and does it well!! I have a whole bunch of these file apps but none of them can find a file but this one. It takes a little while to set up the port forwarding but it is totally worth it.. It is well worth the price of this app. Buy it!!
Waste of time and money!
I wish 0 stars was an option because I would have given this app a big 0! App took forever to set up. It wouldn't recognize my mac automatically ever. Had to forward ports on my router and it still didn't work as advertised. I was finally able to get it to work no thanks to their documentation and support, but even then, it is pretty useless. Here's the tech skinny: if you are within your network range via wifi you have to use your private ip address. If you are outside your network and wifi you have to reconfigure using your public ip address. App is not smart enough to figure this out or allow for multiple ip addresses. Here's the kicker...your mac must be on to access any files using this app. It can't even wake your mac from sleep mode. And, my all time favorite answer from their support team...no refunds! If your looking to waste $10 and a few hours of time, then this app is for you. Just make sure you take your blood pressure meds first.
Dreadful
Don't buy this: terrible support from them, and they flatly state "we don't do refunds!!!" Couldn't get this to function at my work, because I'm not a genius and don't know how to set up port forwarding through a LAN at a large university - not really my fault since I can't ask the IT guys of a large medical school to set up port forwarding just for me! So ultimately I can use this app when I'm at home, and, guess what, when I'm at home I can walk over to my computer and send an email. So it's basically useless. I contacted the support guys at Here file, file, sent them a really polite email asking for help or a solution, or for my money back, and got a really snotty email back from a guy called Adam telling me to get lost, and that they don't do refunds. Really, do NOT buy this product.
