Whoever says they were never punk, you got to listen to their first two albums (before Dookie). They were considered pop-punk. And btw, this album is alternative and punk, dumbasseswhosayGreenDaywasneverpunk. And to haters who think GD lost "inspiration," just because theyre not the masturbating, bored punkers doesnt mean they lost inapiration. Listen closer to lyrics rather than being shallow critics. gREEn DaYyy!!!!!

Green Day has come a long way from 1994, there first album "Dookie" is a fantastic album. But there music went down hill after "American Idiot." the album was good but not great. This album on the other hand this album was not good. It sounds to punky to me and in my ipinion is that they did not start out as a punk band. So get Dookie if you want to listen to realy Green Day because now i think there being contrulled by the music indasty.
