THIS ALBUM WAS MY PUBERTY

Nah but seriously this album was all I listened to during high school. 44 caliber LL during the sunrise drive to my local california education and pulmonary artery on the way back. I think they have lost a lot of fans due to their new sound but CHECK THEM OUT!

Post-Hardcore Masterpiece.

The versatile 'screamo' quintet Alexisonfire's debut album is suprisingly SICK. I first heard songs from their third album [Crisis] and went backwards in time to listen to the first to albums,(which blew me away). The dual vocals of George and Dallas fit together perfectly with intricate sounding guitar riffs which range from heavy and noisy to soothing and mellow. Although you can't always understand the screams, it's the overall SOUND which makes this album so pleasurable to listen to. I highly reccomend the purchase of the entire album [hard copy not itunes] to listen to as a whole. A post-hardcore/screamo listening experience you will not soon forget. We will get to hear more of Dallas Green's spectacular melodic vocals on the second album [Watch Out!] which I also jock hardcore (but really it's great). || For fans of Rise Against - Siren Song of the Counter Culture, Sufferer and the Witness Thrice - The Artist in the Ambulance ||

Alexisonfire's Best
