A music/film/comedy icon, the late Rudy Ray Moore (a.k.a. Dolemite) has been sampled countless times by everybody from 2 Live Crew and Schoolly D to Snoop and Dr. Dre. Cali producer Oh No raided the vaults for last year's exceptional OhNoMite project, but he had so much dope material left over that he had to drop a whole 'nother record. Whereas the first one featured a gigantic roster of guest emcees, Tornado Funk is mostly all instrumentals, overflowing with funk through its 36 tracks. Like his brother Madlib, Oh No is a genius at concocting short but sweet, smoke-friendly weirdo beats, and this is certainly no exception.
