Memoirs of a Madman

Memoirs of a Madman

Ozzy Osbourne wrote the script for heavy metal back in the ‘70s with Black Sabbath. By 1980, he was writing his next chapter with a solo career that exceeded everyone’s expectations. This 17-track career overview is presented in chronological order, beginning with the classic tracks Osbourne recorded with the late guitarist Randy Rhoads (“Crazy Train,” “Flying High Again”) all the way through to “Let Me Hear You Scream” from his 2010 studio album Scream. An unreleased 2010 live recording of “Paranoid” is a bonus, while songs like “Miracle Man,” “No More Tears,” and “Mama, I’m Coming Home” show Osbourne's deft way with pop hooks.
