7 Seconds of Love is rather good.
I've been a fan of Joel Veitch and rathergood.com for many, many years now and became enthralled with 7 Seconds of Love when they first started making music. All their songs are great, but I have to say I'm a little disappointed with some of the rerecordings of their older songs for this album. For example, I miss the heavy piano base of "Love Me Like You Used To" and tracks such as "Submarine" and "Unemployed" seemed to have been reworked as well.
Not that change is a bad thing, but I feel that some of the energy of the orignal tracks that the band offered for free off of rathergood.com those years ago has been lost in the rewriting, rerecording process (albiet it may be better recording quality). I would say a great album all around, but I think I still prefer the original tracks.
