Inside These Walls

Inside These Walls

Inside These Walls delivers substantial, radio-friendly tunes and bright, punchy sound. Bee works with a colorful musical palette, shifting easily from propulsive pop/rock to atmospheric folk-flavored tracks and dramatic balladry. Co-writing with Circleslide’s Gabriel Martinez and Scott Krippayne, he recombines familiar sounds and motifs in ear-grabbing ways. He invites comparisons with Switchfoot on such uplifting numbers as “Helpless” and “Radiant Sun (Give Thanks to the One),” riding ascending melodies to expansive choruses. More reflective are gently flowing tunes like “Maybe It’s the Last Day” and “Hands of Yours.” All of the above serve to drive home Bee’s God-centered message, expressed with a poetic touch and a sense of humility. His ability to tap into Biblical language and imagery within a modern context is particularly evident in “Stones On Bones” and “Nailed It At the Cross.” Inside These Walls should open doors for this versatile, underexposed talent.
