Don't pass on #4
"A Morte Do Sonic" has a great beat, makes your head start to bob.
Just a quick note…
This is not a Brazilian band. This band is based in Lisbon, Portugal, and composed by portuguese and angolan musicians. Don't assume that if the spoken language is Portuguese that it is from Brazil. After all, a lot more of the world speaks it, in particular Portugal where the language comes from. This band is great and it's being nominated for MTV Europe Music Awards 2007, as the best european revelation band.
Reminds me of the "Bug" meets a eurofied Brazilian booty bass.
The bedrock is scruffy and ruff reminds me of the aggro dancehall of the bug, there's an air of favela booty bass, a hint of early early jam master jay, the formula is almost there but where are the hooks? Css would eat these boys for breakfast. A little bit of effort on the part of the itunes editorial staff would go a long way towards a purchase, tell us a little about the group.
