The Depth of Your Love

The Depth of Your Love

On their third album, Sixteen Cities flex their rock muscle while proclaiming their Christian faith in loud, clear tones. Unlike previous releases, The Depth of Your Love is explicitly a worship album that combines versions of traditional hymns like “Come Thou Fount” and modern standards like Hillsong United’s “Oceans (Where Feet May Feel)” with band originals like “Greater Is He” and “Psalm 148 (Highly Exalted).” Lead singer Josiah Warneking brings a mixture of awe and joy to the set, supported by Josh Miller’s assertive (but never strident) lead guitar and Chad McCutchen’s anchoring drum work.
