Still Pimping

Still Pimping

One of the best things about music is timelessness, and even in death, (especially with rappers), your legend just continues to grow. Pimp C passed away in 2007, but he remains a beloved figure in hip-hop, and a Tupac-esque icon in the South. Still Pimping is the third posthumous release (following Greatest Hits and The Naked Soul of Sweet Jones) and features collaborations with some of the biggest names in the business. His UGK comrade Bun B appears on four joints, most notably "Grippin On the Wood," and "Gorillaz," while we also get appearances from Slim Thug ("What U Workin With"), Paul Wall ("Hold Up"), and the pioneering OG of pimp rap, Too $hort. Gone but never forgotten, Pimp C will live on forever in the hearts, minds, and sub-woofers of his worldwide legions of fans
