The third album by pop-reggae band Iration is their first without co-frontman Kai Rediske, who left the band in early 2013. With guitarist Micah Pueschel handling all the lead vocals, Automatic retains the fresh melodic approach for which the Hawaii-bred, California-based band is known, especially on sunny tracks like "Go That Road" and "This Old Song." Cage The Elephant guitarist Lincoln Parish guests and co-produces three tracks, including the standout "Show Me," which eschews the band's reggae lilt in favor of an amiable pop-rock sound.
