Stunning examples of My Bloody Valentine’s reverb-laden and weirdly sumptuous synthesis of melody, momentum, and noise, “To Here Knows When” and “Swallow” are the most canonical tracks to first emerge on this EP. Yet they get further frayed at the edges by the addition of instrumental codas that extend their woozy effects and show Kevin Shields at his most experimental. “Honey Power” and the more delicate “Moon Song” are equally beguiling exercises in shoegaze surge-and-release.
