A fast-rising production team from California, League of Starz includes Dupri, Jaynari, Lewi V., Trend, Movado, Tone Bone, and Dnyc3. They've been cranking out tracks for a wide variety of artists in recent years, including Problem (the single "Like Whaaat"), Tha Dogg Pound, Wiz Khalifa, Red Cafe, Tyga, Philthy Rich, Wale, Glasses Malone, and a zillion others. Their signature sound is currently dominating mainstream-radio rap: all midtempo minimalist joints built primarily on simple claps and snaps, bombastic low-end, spooky bells, and airy synth lines. If you're a hardcore sample-head looking for breakbeats and obscure loops, keep it moving. But if you're a fan of the more modern club/radio-ready sound, these guys are among the best in the game. This is the first album released under their own name. It has a diverse guest list with established superstars (Snoop, The Game, Too Short, E-40, Nelly, Chris Brown), as well as more underground cats like IamSy, Clyde Carson, Bad Seed, and Sleepy D.
