Noel drapes the first half in heavy distortion, dropping buzzing, tribal beats while twisting her shrieks into lo-fi rattles on "Sela/Seeing-Eye Lion" and weaving eerie chimes into the glitchy "Elle/Elle Beat." If Noel is the cause of the apocalypse, Brown is the effect, her hypnagogic pop creeping along grimy beats on "Chain Letter" before getting washed in languid mariachi horns on "Acid We."
