Hailing from the Fillmore District of San Francisco, Messy Marv is a prolific rapper whose discography is literally several pages long. While many rappers are fiercely loyal to their own small crew, Marv has embraced the collabo concept, joining forces with dozens of other artists all over the Bay and beyond. Blocks and Boat Docks is the follow-up to last year's popular Blow album, and finds him again teaming up with fellow Cali MC Berner for a collection of dark and dramatic joints. Cozmo, HatSlap, and D-Wells contribute much of the moody and cinematic production, while the guest list features some of the Bay Area's finest, including Yukmouth, Equipto, Jacka, San Quinn, and B-Legit.
