Twenty

Twenty

Celebrating two decades in the industry, Twenty is an extensive collection that includes new versions of many of Boyz II Men's classic hit singles, plus a grip of new original material (their first since 2007's The Remedy). The new songs make up the first half of the album, with highlights like the inspirational opener "Believe," "Benefit of a Fool," and the Charlie Wilson collaboration "More Than You'll Ever Know." The second half presents us with updated versions of landmark singles like "On Bended Knee" and "Motownphilly," as well as their much-loved cover of "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday" (originally by G.C. Cameron and featured in the Cosby/Poitier flick Cooley High). As a bonus, backing up their rich harmonies are some of the best producers in the biz. They reconnect with Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Babyface, Teddy Riley, and Tim & Bob, among others. If you're a fan from back in the day, this is an absolute must-have and proof that the Boyz just get better with time.
