Performed with genuine feel and a clear emphasis on rhythm, this tight trio plays acoustic guitar, banjo, and upright bass with some fiddle, harmonica, and electric guitar thrown in the mix. This is the band’s third studio release and the songs showcase sharp, wry lyrics and dark humor about drinking, desperate times, and the wages of sin, often delivered with a sly smile.
