Twenty years into their career, Twiztid’s horrorcore is as gory as ever. Indeed, their 11th album is a blood-curdling rush of personal torment and beats that sound like chainsaws and machine guns. “Kill Somebody” splatters G-funk with homicidal thoughts and ghastly screams, and “Psychomania” butchers eardrums with garish, in-your-face production. While the duo are no strangers to hard-rock moves, the post-grunge rage fueling “Nothing to You” is an audacious display of their ability to hop genres.
