GOOD VIBES!!!!
This album is amazing. I like the vibe it has very up beat and chill. The last album was good but it had some dark vibes to it. Xavier and the guys are more sound together on here. Let's get the word out about this album so there's more Peace Love and Happiness in the World. Thanks again Xavier Rudd.
Xavier continues to deliver superb music
I love Xavier Rudd (seriously, my girlfriend is jealous). I for whatever reason rented a movie awhile ago called "Surfer, Dude." It wasn't a good movie, but Xavier's "Come Let Go" was part of the track... I hunted down the artist and downloaded his album "White Moth." I then proceeded to get all the rest of his albums and was addicted for months. Every single song on White Moth and Solace is amazing... the majority of the songs on the rest of the albums (To Let, Food in the Belly and Dark Shades of Blue) blow me away.
Needless to say, I was very much anticipating the release of Koonyum Sun... I pre-ordered it and put the release date on my calendar. I also bought tickets to a concert in Vancouver Canada (I live in San Francisco!).
Koonyum Sun is amazing... some of the songs here will definitely become my favorites (although at this point I have about 20-30 favorites from Xavier). Among them are: Sky To Ground (wow), Fresh Green Freedom, Love Comes and Goes, Time To Smile, Breeze, Yandi and Grey to Blue (this one coming only to pre-orders I guess... if you don't have it, track it down!).
The music is amazing and the message hits the soul... goosebumps all around.
Spring and Summer is here!
African and Reggae beats make this a very fun listen too. The more I listened the more I enjoyed!!!
