Je voudrais changer d'chapeau

Je voudrais changer d'chapeau

This Canadian folk juggernaut's sixth album marked a sophisticated change from music rooted in traditional Quebec dance rhythms to a more worldly chamber-folk sound. You'll find gypsy jazz like "C'est dans Paris" and the almost baroque “La valse des Bélugas” (with whale-song intro) alongside uptempo jigs and reels like "Le festin de campagne" and "Le rêve du quéteux Tremblay 2.” Bottine's percussive footwork and the dazzling interplay of accordion, guitar, and fiddle, however, still hold the fort on this 1988 "change of hat."
