Walkin' the Back Streets

Walkin' the Back Streets

Unlike many great blues icons, Little Milton grew up listening not to the blues but to country music. That rare exposure helped open his eyes later on, as Little Milton became one of the blues scene's most adaptable musicians, capable of playing R&B, straight blues, or even country with the best of them. Milton was also a triple threat: he could write the saddest blues, he had supreme command of his voice, and he could play the lights out on guitar, often earning comparisons to B.B. King. What more could you want in a blues legend? Key tracks: "Letter Full of Tears," "Open the Door to Your Heart," and Walkin' the Back Streets and Crying"
