love it
up the disco is killer (awesome awesome chorus) but my fav is "dark horse". this song is deep! i love the street sounds, the bells, when she hums in the middle of it. i have played it 15 times already and could play it 100 times more before wanting to switch up. my only criticism i wish it were more than 6 songs. i have been a fan of panda transport since they came out with their debut, "plush mechanique". this release is more acoustic and the production is bigger on this one, i guess they are refining what their sound is. like phoenix, i always dug the songwriting on their previous albums but the production on wolfgang is pretty phenonmenal.
Awesome
Panda transport shows maturity on this new album. Monorail is a reflection of their evolution as artists. Let the voice of Katy Compton and the accompaniment of Thierry Holweck remain in your head after you have listened “up to disco”. Without sacrificing their artist values, they have realized an album more accessible for everybody.
The Best One Yet!
I've kept up with all of Panda Transport's albums, and have anticipated the lastest one, Monorail, for quite some time! It does not dissapoint! I can't say enough good things about it! And everyone that's been around me while the album is on has commented on how fun it is!
Up The Disco and Monorail are my favorites (right now).
I highly recommend this to anyone who loves listening to good music, no matter what you're doing...sitting at your desk at work, cleaning the house, or driving down the highway.
