Album Review
Astonishingly, this is ranchera superstar Vicente Fernández's 81st album, following on the success of 2008's Grammy-winning Para Siempre. The title track of Necesito de Ti , composed by Grammy nominee Manuel Toscano, is of particular interest in that Fernández chose to release it on May 5, 2009, the anniversary of the Battle of Puebla, a significant event in Mexican history. As befits that gesture, the still vocally virile Fernández remains the most traditional of ranchera traditionalists even while maintaining his commercial viability well into the new century.

yo no se porque esta gente de itunes no caen en la realidad y dejan de vender musica a & 1.30 nadie se las quiere comprar, dios quiera que algun dia todos nos unamos y no compremos las canciones por ese precio es simplemente un abuso de autoridad

I may be only 26 years old but I have loved Vicente since I was just a lil one. Growing up in my household that is all my father would play on sunday mornings. Some kids woke up to their mother' voices or the smell of a home cooked breakfast. I awoke to the sweet yet powerful and moving sounds of Vicente. How fitting that he released his new album the same day as my father's birthday:)
He is still making music!!!!
I cannot believe that he''s almost 70 and he is still making great music.
