On "The Great Beast," "Nightmares," and "Walking Through the Soul," the Colombian black-metal horde fuse maniacal blast beats and vicious tremolo riffs with dazzling classical guitar runs and the preternatural howl of vocalist Andrés "Antichrist 666" Vargas to create a uniquely grim, Latin-flavored hellscape. "Metal to the Bone" seethes with Slayer thrash vibes, while instrumental "The Last Breath" closes the proceedings with virtuosic panache.
