This singal is B-R-U-T-A-L!!!! And with the slight glactict technical qualities, its just SICK. (only for the fans of XXXTREME gut bursting Death Metal)
This is something!
I never got into Wormed before, and boy do I listen to a lot of twisted up technical death metal. But I heard these songs on their myspace and was FLOORED. I cant say I've ever heard something quite like this before. My God. This has to be the most demented 9 1/2 minutes of technical death metal that I've ever heard. Something is wrong with these people. This particular version of death metal vocals...one's mind cannot comprehend somebody actually thinking of doing that into a microphone, but there it is. The lyrics read like they're coming right out of the mind of an astrophysicist. The drums, guitars and bass are absolutely insane...and yet it all makes sense. What's holding it all together, I don't know...perhaps it's dark matter?
This record made me go back and check out planisphaerium...remarkable in its own right. If you missed the point of Wormed the first time around like I did, use this two song EP to springboard you back in time.
