Solo de Mí - Single

Solo de Mí - Single

“Solo de Mí” picks up where “MIA” left off: With a reggaetón dembow riddim rather than his usual trap beats, Conejo Malo is clearly asserting his fluidity as an artist. But unlike “MIA,” “Solo de Mí” exists in a somber haze, with regretful but firm declarations of love’s finality. When he says, “Lo nuestro ya se murió/Lo siento si te dolió” (What we had is over/I’m sorry if it hurt you), he means it. But the song’s surprise change of tempo and attitude toward the end denotes that Bad Bunny would rather look forward than dwell in the painful past.
