Dangerous

Dangerous

KJ-52 has so much cred in the gospel world that it’s awfully hard for anyone else to come close. After more than half a million records sold, six Dove Awards, and numerous collaborations with Christian music royalty, we arrive at the concept album Dangerous, the gospel hip-hopper’s eighth studio album. It’s an unflinchingly honest effort, with KJ’s legendary flow operating at full bore. This record starts with a fictional radio call-in show, where KJ-52 counsels that it’s important to not get caught up in the material world too much; such trappings are a dangerous temptation. Dangerous goes on to address other issues such as extramarital affairs, drugs, and even racism within the gospel and church communities.
