New Age Genius
The influences of Tangerine Dream and Jean Michel Jarre are certainly unmistakable, however, Tangier Dream has many uncommon and compelling qualities. Every track takes you on an imaginative sonic journey, and all the tracks together are intricately woven into a rich melodic tapestry. Tangier Dream stands as one of the most artistic and avant-garde albums in my vast New Age collection. I encourage you to buy Tangier Dream and listen to it with headphones, close your eyes and be ferried away to care free, fantastic and mystical landscapes.
The best electronic new age album in a decade!
I have been a Tangerine Dream and Jarre fan for over 25 years and now I am proud to be a Eric Walker fan. This is the best overall electronic new age album I have heard in a decade. Every song flows and takes you somewhere. It is as if Eric Walker went to the school of Tangerine Dream and Jean-Michel Jarre and got a PHD in it. Awesome sounds, relaxing atmospheres and pure musical geniuses. Every time I listen to this CD I hear things I did not catch the time before. You can play it a 100 times and still hear something new. This is a must buy for any electronic and new age music fan. I can't wait for his next release and will be counting the days.
Wonderful Album
This is a wonderful album that takes you on a sonic journey through the galaxies of the nearest star Alpha Centuari to the Star Wars universe on the forest moon of Endor with Return to Endor. Then to Earth where Eric expresses his love of Vietnam with Mua and Nhu's Love. Nhu must be one lucky girl. I wish I had someone writing such lovely music about me. This whole cd is a journey and I highly recommend it. It is so good that it leaves you wanting to hear more from him. Until then, I will be patiently waiting.
