Life Is Good

Life Is Good

The six-year break that Flogging Molly took before releasing Life Is Good only deepened the band’s blue-collar convictions, making their sixth album as charged as anything else they’ve done. "Reptiles (We Woke Up)" is a Springsteen-esque call for political activism, while "Crushed (Hostile Nations)" uses militaristic fiddles and guitars to call out the violence of oppressive states. But Flogging Molly tackle the personal as well; on the bittersweet title track, lead singer Dave King reflects on what really matters in life.
