Las Vegas’ Taking Dawn reflect their hometown's affection for sleazy hard rock and '80s hair metal on the headbanging Time to Burn. Both "Like a Revolution" and "Take Me Away" feature an onslaught of bluesy hard-rock licks and stacked harmonies, while the acoustic-burnished "Close Your Eyes" is a towering power ballad enveloped by epic fret calisthenics. "Fight 'Em With Your Rock," on the other hand, is full-on theatrical glam metal marked by a wicked tempo and out-of-control screams.
