Wonderful!
After Coldplay gave me a free download of their song "Odds and Evens," I had to find out more about them. I found this album, bought it, and I love it. If you like Coldplay, you will like The High Wire.
They have a lot of upbeat songs such as "Odds and Evens," "The Midnight Bell," "It's No Secret."
Also a couple slower songs like "The Sleep Tape," "Leave Me in Love," and "Letting in the Light."
Each song seems to just work. It's something I can't really explain, but the band clicks in this magnificent debut album.
My favorite songs would have to be the anthem, "Hang From the Lights," the light hearted, "Odds and Evens," and the terrific "It's No Secret."
That's my order of favorites, and I cannot wait for more from this band.
