Great to Listen to
I must say, Demander has such a unique sound that is just impossible to resist. My personal favorite is Hollis, partly beause a friend of my friend did the music video for it, and also because of its off-beat, disjointed frenzy of sounds and anger and emotion. I love it. There.

Founded by vocalist/bassist Karen Kanan Corrêa and drummer Sivan Harlap — both former members of the Hissyfits — Demander traffics in the same indie rock circle as Sleater-Kinney and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
