The final installment of the Minutemen's compilation series Post-Mersh collects a number of their rare EPs, singles, B-sides, and brief lo-fi sketches, adroitly demonstrating the pioneering punk trio's fearlessness. "Afternoons" mines tension by clashing twangy guitars with jittery beats, "Black Sheep" merges a laidback groove with urgent vocal delivery, and “If Reagan Played Disco” is the kind of slinky, grooving protest song that only the Minutemen could’ve pulled off.
