Waihua is the Perfect Escape
This album is just as good as Full Circle, if not better. There are many more instruments being played in this album, and each and every one of the songs are unique in it's own way. If you are ever stressed about anything, listening to Ranga Pae and it will relax you completely. I especially love to play this album first thing in the morning because it is a wonderful way to start the day, giving you lots of positive vibes. Great for background dinner music, as well. Overall, a wonderful album to listen to. :)
I Love Ranga Pae!
Do yourself a favor and listen to Ranga Pae! Beautiful, melodious, soothing, unique sounds. I agree with the other reviewers that it’s perfect background music for any relaxing activity or dinner party. I was lucky to see them live in Maui a few years ago -- a highlight of my trip -- and have listened to their music almost daily since then. I was so excited to get their new album Waihua recently and it has actually exceeded my expectations! (By the way, they’re currently performing at Merriman’s Kapalua if you’re in Maui.)
Magical work
When I listened to Waihua in my room, I thought it was quiet and relaxing. When my massage therapist played it during a session, I felt it was lively and full of joy. As a Japanese, I appreciate that they gave a new life to koto. I was thinking Ranga Pae was a musical unit, but maybe they are magicians who create beautiful wonders.
