Everyday Thugs

Everyday Thugs

In the early '90s, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony came out of Cleveland with a hyper-unique style unlike anything else that had been heard in hip-hop. Discovered by Eazy-E and signed to Ruthless Records, they dropped their debut EP, Creepin on Ah Come Up, and blew up on the strength of singles like "Thuggish Ruggish Bone" and "Foe Tha Love of $." Their follow-up, E. 1999 Eternal, continued their chart dominance with the mega-smash hits "Tha Crossroads" and "1st of tha Month." Despite several lineup changes, legal issues, and a constantly morphing music scene, they've remained popular over the last two decades, steadily releasing new material and touring on a regular basis. Everyday Thugs is their 10th album and sticks to their time-tested formula of gangsta storytelling, lightning-quick rhymes, and ultra-smooth harmonies. Check out "Here We Go," "When the Lord Came Riding Through," "So Krayzie," "Do You Remember?," and the "Put It in Your Mouth"–sampling "I Am the King."
