Though OK Go came to attention with a catchy video gone viral for “A Million Ways,” the group established staying power with a demanding hard-pop sound. This live album recorded during their 2010 tour features 16 tracks from the group’s three studio albums taken from the tapes of 180 concerts. These are energetic, magnetic performances that bring out the true attack of songs such as “Do What You Want,” “White Knuckles,” “Here It Goes Again” and “Get Over It.” The sound has a comfortable uniformity despite being taken from so many different shows thanks to Mercury Rev sound master Dave Fridmann. The expanded reach of “In the Glass” matches up well with the primal power of “Don’t Ask Me” and “WTF?” The dominating bass-guitar lines give everything a tougher-than-nails power.
