Wow! Track-by-Track

Are you kidding me? I stumbled on these guys (and girl) a couple days after they released the CD and I've been listening to it since. Revolution: Male vocal: Kind of like a punk feel mixed with hillsongs The time has come. Not my favorite, but its good 5/5 Let it out: Female vocal: I love this song from the amazing guitar riffs to the energetic vocals 5/5 Unite: Male Vocal: A decent upbeat worship song with a modern feel. 4/5 Crazy: Female Vocal: The chorus and verses are just awesome 5/5 Die to Live: Male/Female vocal: A powerful worship song with strong lyrics and a powerful chorus. 5/5 Holy: Female Vocal: Just one line sung a couple of times. More like an interlude. 3/5 Consume me now: Male Vocals: My favorite song on the album and it is great as a worship song. 5/5 All we: Male Vocals (Female backing): probably the most worshipful song on the CD and will probably be a popular song. 5/5 At the Cross: Female Vocal: Touching song, not my favorite but I can see it meaning alot to some people. 4/5 My Only One: Male Vocal: Pretty upbeat and it just sounds really good. 5/5 Take Me: Female Vocal: Another good worship song, really good piano. 4/5 Lose Myself: Female Vocal: Good worship song with a strong chorus and decent hook. 5/5 The Change: Male Vocal: Not sure about this one, the lyrics are kind of all over the place. 3/5 Unafraid: Female Vocal: Great piano and pretty touching song. Also a good beat that goes with the song. 4/5 Infiltrate: Male Talking: A decent way to end the CD, but it would of been more powerful I think if it was at the start of the CD 4/5 As indicated by the title of the first song, this CD is truelly a revolution. Amazing lyrics, great musicianship make for an awesome CD. These guys are my new favorite now. Get this CD now.

New American Worship

WDF is unlike anything heard yet in America and around the world! For fans who are tired of the same CCM faire, WDF will provide something never before. Think Family Force Five, a dash of Paramore, some Mayday Parade a little Hillsong United and you kind of have Worth Dying For. Except you don't, because Worth Dying For sounds completely different from all of those! Christy Johnson and Sean Loche's lead vocals are amazing! Nate Parrish and Micah Berteau blow everyone away with their amazing experimental guitar riffs, and Josh O'Haire's drumming will leave you wanting more! Kudos to all five members for participating in songwriting which is heart felt and real. Okay...... I'm a little bias, I know these people. I used to live in Modesto and I went to The Stadium youth ministry for many years. In fact, I went to High School with most of them, participated in youth ministry with all of them, this should not discredit my review though (because their music is that good.) but what I can tell you these guys are all genuine! Love them! Buy Worth Dying For and you won't be disappointed! It's not your typical American worship band, but that is a great thing!

INCREDIBLE!

This band has captured a sound in Christian music that is completely unique! The lyrics are full of true, heart-felt worship and demand reverence and awe of the Creator...the incredible blend of music makes that experience all the more real and enrapturing. The best Christian band I've heard in YEARS!

Biography

Formed: 2006 in Modesto, CA

Genre: Christian & Gospel

Years Active: '00s

An offspring of the youth services at Calvary Temple Worship Center in Modesto, CA, modern worship quintet Worth Dying For got their start playing anthemic, rock-infused praise tunes at weekly gatherings at the Stadium, a meeting place for young people. After signing to worship giant Integrity Music in 2007, they went into the studio with tobyMac collaborator and producer Dave Wyatt to record their self-titled debut — a disc with shades of fellow Christian rockers Paramore, Fireflight, and...
