Description

Our new Computer Dictionary is one of the most complete information technology reference and educational apps for defining computer, Internet, multi-media, and telecom terms.

With our new Computer Dictionary you don't have to scroll through long lists of terms. Instead you can quickly Smart-Search a database containing over 10,000 high-tech terms and definitions.

You can scroll lists of common Chat Abbreviations, Emoticons, Filename Extensions, ASCII/HEX Code, and Internet Domain Suffixes. Also with the Smart-Search you can "Narrow Search Results" for the lists and the database.

For example if you are looking for what TNTL means you can either use the "Smart-Search Database" box and search the database, or go to the Chat list and scroll to the "T" section, or while in the Chat list you can use the "Narrow Search Results" box to find TNTL (Trying Not To Laugh).

This Computer Dictionary is used by schools, private companies (Cambridge University Press, Platon Consulting, etc) and has been used by thousands online.

The Computer Dictionary is now available as a stand-alone mobile app for the iPhone/iPod and the iPad. No Internet connection is required. Our Computer Dictionary is not as cumbersome as some and is more complete than others.

Customer Reviews

Works great on my iPad

I had trouble with the previous version (2.01) when I upgraded my iPad to iOS 4.2 and emailed the developer who replied immediately saying that the update would fix the problem. I waited to review this app until it worked on my iPad. This updated version (2.02) works fine on my iPad and completes my arsenal of programs for this coming school term. My iPad rocks!

Good tech dictionary

Got this for my iPhone and plan to get an iPad next year. This will be useful in school and I work part time for a local computer repair company. Lots of terms to search for and the lists are good for a quick look. Glad to read the developer keeps the dictionary updated.

Nice app, but needs some cleaning up

This is a great app! However some of the definitions are partially cut off or the last term in a long list you have to scroll all the way down to read. Other than that I may find this app useful for school and work!
