Acrobits Softphone is highly configurable so problems that seem insurmountable may just require a couple of adjustments to the settings.
Acrobits Softphone has more options for receiving calls when not in the foreground than any SIP Client on the App Store. But since they all work very differently, we don't turn them on by default. SIP - Acrobits Softphone is a SIP Client, not a VoIP service. You must have service with a VoIP provider that supports use on a standard SIP client to use it.
Google Voice - Google Voice users should read the following articles and watch our video to ensure they understand how to use the Google Voice interface. If you're using 2 step verification with your GoogleVoice account, you must enter an application specific password when adding your GoogleVoice account to Acrobits Softphone.

Best Sip phone on AppStore
Well, I have been using this app a quiet a long time and I realized that it has less then 5 star and got surprised. Incoming calls with Push is amazing. You get to use your VoIP on 3G flawless (maybe they are the first one offered this). I recently purchased Bria to see if there is anything exciting because of their star rating, but honestly nothing new or better. So I decide to write this review. I would highly recommend this app over other paid apps.
Amazing SIP client!
I spent a lot of time looking for the best SIP client for my iPhone 4S and I can honestly say that I did the right thing choosing Acrobits. Even though it is not cheap compared to other apps, it is worth every penny. The number rewriting feature is amazing, I can't believe I ever lived without it.
Most of the negative reviews seem to be from users without much VoIP or SIP knowledge. If you are an advanced user or just know enough to understand how to set up your SIP account and that the call quality depends on how good your network is, I definitely recommend this app. I don't think there is a better SIP client for iOS and they are always releasing new versions.
The future is here
Using acrobits with iPhone 4s and teltub. It works flawless for me on a good wifi connection. Time to do some real world testing to see if it's time to ditch my cell service.
