Air Guitar provides all the fun of rocking out with none of the talent or commitment required to play a real instrument. Unlike other guitar apps, Air Guitar uses the built-in accelerometer to let you really rock: with your iPhone or iPod touch in hand, just start strumming away at your imaginary axe. You can even strum harder or softer to control the volume and whammy (pitch-bend) by bending your wrist!
Our favorite part? Air Guitar is built to be played with your own music. To quickly play, pause, or skip tracks, double tap the home button. Air Guitar is set up with power chords and preset progressions that help you pick notes that sound good together, but if you want more flexibility our advanced mode puts a full scale at your fingertips.

If you watch the videos you realize how cool this app can be. It's almost as awesome as the Airway To Heaven app.
Awesome app
Im always trying to cover and write songs with this app. It is so easy to work with and has a great sound. One thing I would like to see in the next update would be an acoustic mode. Please look into and acoustic mode. It would be SOOO awesome!!!
Boring
I play guitar but this nothing like it. And not in a good way. The terrible way. I can't believe it has 3.5 star rating. It should -infinity!!!
