Airfoil Speakers Touch is a free accessory to our paid Airfoil application. With Airfoil Speakers Touch, you can send any audio from your Mac or PC to your iOS device!
You'll be able to send audio from iTunes, RealPlayer, and even web-based sources like Pandora and Last.fm. Now, if your Mac or Windows machine can play it, you can hear it anywhere around the house!
Just connect your device to your local Wifi network, then open up Airfoil on your Mac or Windows machine, and start transmitting to your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad.

Amazing invention
Does exactly what it says: Receives audio from the computer with accompanying Airfoil on Mac. It's just like having a portable AirPort Express using AirTunes. It would be nice if it could send audio as well as receive. Keeping my fingers crossed! Most of the one star ratings are due to RogueAmoeba forgetting to mention that this is an accessory app, not a standalone. It requires Airfoil for Mac, which does offer 'try before you buy' functionality.
So worth $25
Okay so you can down load it free! And connect it with your computer. It works for ten minutes unless you exit out and start it up again. To use it constantly it coast $25. But I think it is so worth it. Especially if you have surround sound in your house and speakers everywhere. Just hook up an apple device! I mean it's free for ten minutes so just download it!!
Almost perfect
Does exactly what it says wonderfully, but what about adding volume control of airfoil on Mac, through the app. Much like apple iTunes remote?
