The AJ Bell iOS app puts your investment portfolio in your pocket. Completely free to download, it lets you buy and sell, and keep track of your investments, on the go.
Don’t have an account with us yet? You can open one in minutes. We offer Self-Invested Personal Pensions (SIPPs), Stocks and shares ISAs (including Lifetime ISAs and Junior ISAs) and Dealing accounts.
Using this app, you can:
- Buy and sell a wide range of investments including shares, funds, investment trusts and ETFs
- Deal at best or place limit and stop orders
- Edit and cancel existing limit orders
- Set up regular investments
- Keep an eye on the value of your account – 24/7
- Top up your account using a debit card
- View your cash statement and transaction history
- Read market news and the latest content from Shares Magazine
- Watch our latest investment videos
- Send, read and reply to your secure messages
- Enable face/fingerprint recognition for ‘read-only access’ to your account (you’ll be asked to fully log in to deal, top up or send a secure message)
You can log in to the app by using your existing AJ Bell login details.

Not good
App does not offer real time US market quotes, charges a ridiculous amount of FX fees and the SIPP does not make it easy to invest in savings accounts, US treasuries or other fixed income vehicles- which age attractive in this high interest rate environment.
