Thanks for Retina
I purchased this on Steam and had always thought that it would make a wonderful game for the iPad's touchscreen.
So when I saw this pop up on the App Store I got really excited only to learn it wasn't fully optimized for the beautiful Retina display of the new iPad.
That forced me to hold off on my purchase.
But with the most recent Retina update I couldn't smash the buy button quick enough.
I have to say that it looks amazing on a new iPad but you should not miss this game if you don't have one because it plays so well on the touchscreen.
Also thanks to the developer for going the extra mile and adding GameCenter support unlike most indie ports that are just straight ports.

Finally on iPad
I played and loved this game when it first came out in 2008, recently I was wondering if there would be any chance that the developer move it onto iPad, guess what? I found it! And they did an awesome job on transplanting this game. Graphics and sounds are processed without any compromasition, and the control got even better on touch screen. It is the best $5 I've ever spent on an iPad game.
Update: support for retina display just pumped the gameplay to the next level!!!
Great game
Beautiful graphics, beautiful music, hours and hours of gameplay. I've played it through several times now. Best $5 app out there.
The only thing is I'm not sure how to discover the Poison Loaf recipe, and so I can't get the cooking achievement.
