This application is a setup utility for the Fostex AR-4i.
This application enables you to edit various parameters on the AR-4i.

1, Menu mode (Preset/Advanced)
2, Panning on each input
3, Headphone out monitor setting
4, Limiter (enabled only with Advanced mode)
5, Low cut filter (enabled only with Advanced mode)
Also you can update the firmware on the AR-4i with this application.

Used at MacWorld
Used the AR-4i hardware & software at the iPhone Film Festival event at MacWorld | iWorld 2012 with great results. Amazing product, a must have if you record video interviews.
No fix for noise
I got the AR-4i for Christmas. Better quality audio is key for my upcoming movie project. Unfortunately the device is incredibly noisy. I've installed this latest version of the app, ran through all of the setting variations, I even bought an SGM-2 shotgun mic, but whether a mic is plugged in or not, the device itself lays down a nice frosty layer of hiss.
Wasted money for the device.
