Play as both Light and Dark in this single player game based off the hit title, "Archon."
In this game, you have several campaigns to play through, using the Light and Dark teams. Each campaign features 15 quests for a total of 60 to play through! Each one is unique with different enemies to fight, puzzles to solve and medals to win!

Good Game, Controls Need Work
The premise for the game is good, and it's a good twist to an old game. However, both control methods need work. Joystick mode covers part of the battle screen. Tilt only works from flat, not relative to how you're holding the iPhone. If the controls get fixed up, it would be a 5-star game.
Classic & Timeless
React Games has really brought this classic into the modern age. I played both Archon and Archon II back when they were originally released in the eighties on the C64. While Archon: Conquest is certainly new and different it is based on the classic structure of Archon. The formula that defines Archon's success through the years is that it offers a fantasy implementation of chess with special powers (firing, spells..) and it allows the skilled player the opportunity to still win a battle even if his piece is weaker than the computers or his opponents piece. I have only had a few hours to spend with Archon: Conquest, but the leveling capability and quests offer a perfect expansion to the brand. There are almost no games I continue to want to play from the eighties, but Archon is an itch I continue to want to scratch. I've purchased several hundred iPhone games and my advice is Buy Now. Archon won't disappoint and for only .99 you can't lose. $4.99 would still be cheap.

Downlaoded after waiting for it to load for two days. Now it wont open. Please fix
